Magnus Carlsen is a Norwegian chess grandmaster and the current World Chess Champion. He achieved the title of Grandmaster in 2004 at the age of 13, making him the youngest grandmaster at that time. He was the world's No. 1 ranked player from 2010 to 2014, and again since April 2018. In 2013, he won the World Chess Championship and defended it in 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2019.
