Ed Catmull is an American computer scientist and co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios and president of Pixar Animation and Disney Animation. He is also a co-founder of the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm, which was later acquired by Apple. Catmull has won five Academy Awards for his scientific and technical achievements in the field of computer animation. He is the author of the books Creativity, Inc.
