"Jasmine Guillory’s books are my most trusted companion on long-distance flights, and The Wedding Party is my favorite. Maddie and Theo – supporting characters in her previous books – have never gotten along, but when their mutual best friend asks them to be in her bridal party, they have to work together. I’ve gravitated toward Guillory’s books because she avoids rom-com hijinks in favor of thoughtfully drawn normal people who just happen to fall in love, and this is the most relatable romance I read this year."
