But I’m hesitant to say more – revealing too much will ruin the joy of discovering the twists and turns on your own. So I will say this: The story centers on a group of students at a performing arts high school in the 1980s. But that’s not what the novel is about. It’s about the myths we create to reconcile ourselves to our memories. It’s about how there’s no single truth. It’s about who gets to own a person’s story. And it’s a satisfying read."
