"Every few years since 2008, Yotam Ottolenghi has published a cookbook. Each time, the same question arises: Can he do it again? Last year’s Sweet with Helen Goh yielded a resounding yes, and so does this year’s offering. If you have an Ottolenghi palate – i.e., you like tahini, pomegranate molasses, sumac, preserved lemons – add this to your wishlist. “Why didn’t I think of that?!” you’ll ask as you roast chicken in miso, maple and lime, or as you toss blueberries and lemon zest in an almond-flour-based loaf cake, or as you shallow-fry the quartered fingerlings with whole garlic cloves. You didn’t think of it because, alas, you are (still) not Ottolenghi. But none of that matters now – just relax, and enjoy."
