"I took Archie Bongiovanni’s captivating graphic novel Mimosa to a cabin weekend and was sneaking off whenever I could to read it. There is a hole in my heart where these characters lived, worked, partied and parented for a few days. The book explores the lives and friendships of four 30-something queer people in Minneapolis who are still learning to ask for what they want and show up for the people they love. Bongiovanni frankly illustrates that community is sometimes messy and always evolving."
