"Former high-achieving student and now SAT tutor Evie Gordon shows up to her student’s luxurious home one day to find the rich parents dead, and a mysterious stranger tied up in a closet. She impulsively unties the stranger, who does not speak to her. Through a series of mishaps and fateful decisions, they both end up on the run on a crime spree/road trip, wanted as serial killers. The plot details slowly unfold from both Evie’s and the stranger’s points of view. A romantic plotline and bits of social commentary add more depth to the tense thrill ride of a story."
