"Hench counts the human cost of superheroes. And Anna, traumatized and injured by the hero Supercollider while henching for a minor villain, wants to make them pay. Anna is funny, the rage of collateral damage, one of us – where “us” is survivor, is anybody who’s ever worried about making rent or worked for a company that does some not-so-great things. Hench is both high-concept (BAM!) campy (POW!) Silver and Golden Age superhero stuff, and the mundane minutiae of a world where superpowers are real. It’s also the horror of a world with little privacy and information as weapon. Hench is thought-provoking – and a lot of fun!"
