"Sarah Pinsker is just so good at writing characters you want to spend time with. In Haunt Sweet Home, Mara doesn’t know what she’s doing with her life when she takes a job as a production assistant on her cousin’s gimicky reality show, which combines home renovation with ghosts. Mara’s job is to provide the hauntings. I enjoyed behind the scenes of the show almost as much as I enjoyed Mara’s voice. Want something cozy and spooky? Pinsker writes with sharpness and warmth; there are moments of real eerieness. Haunt Sweet Home has a lot of heart – and is a lot of fun."
