Harry gives leisure living a halfhearted try, but he finds that the vintage motorcycle he had planned to tinker with as a hobby interests him for about 10 minutes. Indeed, so antsy is Harry that when his half-brother, Mickey Haller (who is himself the hero of Connelly’s “Lincoln Lawyer” series), asks him to sign on as an investigator, Harry surprisingly agrees.
